Circle of Hope

Circle of Hope is a Needham-based non-profit whose mission is to collect, sort and distribute used and new clothing to homeless shelters and support organizations in Greater Boston. NWC volunteers staff the Saturday morning drop off at Circle of Hope from 9 to 11am.

Traveling Meals

The Needham Women’s Club is proud to participate in the Needham Traveling Meals Program coordinated by the Public Health Department. This important community program delivers approximately 11,000 meals to Needham residents annually. During the months of September through June NWC volunteers deliver meals to those qualifying for the program on Friday morning at 11am.

Ellie Bloom Olympics

The Needham Women’s Club helps support the Ellie Bloom Olympics by preparing and serving lunch and refreshments to all the athletes. The Charles River Center is thrilled to have our continued support.

Student Community Service

The Needham Women’s Club gives Needham High School students volunteer opportunities through out the year. Students can help with the Holiday House Tour, the Needham Garden Tour, and other events. Students can fulfill their 30 hour community service credit through helping with multiple events throughout the year.

More Service

In addition to the service categories listed, Needham Women’s Club members volunteer their time with many other local organizations and activities. We staff the Needham High School all night graduation party, help decorate the Charles River Center for the holidays, form a team for the NEF Spelling Bee, wrap presents for the Walker School and donate food to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry.
