Marcus Nelson made history in 2021 as the first person of color elected to Needham’s Select Board, He is an appointed member of Needham’s Human Rights Committee, as well as the Needham Unite Against Racism Working Group. He serves on the Community Conversations on Race Committee, and Needham’s Housing Plan Working Group. A member of the Needham Resilience Network, Marcus is dedicated to building shared understandings across diverse local groups to address community challenges.
Additionally, Marcus is an Admissions Associate at Dedham Country Day School, and leads and mentors primary, lower, and middle school students through physical education classes, coaching, and affinity group facilitation. A native New Yorker, Marcus grew up in Rome, NY and attended St Bonaventure University.

Theodora (Tedi) K. Eaton has been Needham Town Clerk since 1982, She is a Certified Master Municipal Clerk, Justice of the Peace, Notary Public, Chief Election Official, Chief Records Access Officer, Burial Agent, Registrar of Needham’s Vital Records, and Commissioner to Qualify Oath of Office,
Tedi is a graduate Needham High School, Mt. Ida Junior College, and Boston College. She is the mother of three wonderful sons—Ronnie, Jeff, and Ted—and multiple grandchildren. She is also a member and Treasurer of the Kalmia Garden Club and member and past Director and Secretary of the Needham Exchange Club.

Alison Borrelli, a Needham native, is an award winning REALTOR® at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate, bringing with her a unique blend of values and expertise. Her journey began in Needham, Massachusetts, a place she continues to proudly call home, residing there with her husband, two teenagers, and her cat, Jake. Alison’s passion is deeply rooted in making meaningful connections, nurturing relationships, and helping families uncover the treasures of MetroWest Boston.
Beyond her real estate endeavors, Alison is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She actively participates in fundraising, volunteers for various causes, and supports local non-profit organizations by serving as the Chair for the Needham High School Distinguished Career Award, past President of the Needham History Center & Museum, past President of Parent Talk, and a dedicated volunteer for the Needham Community Council, Plugged In Teen Band Program, Traveling Meals, and more.

Linda Dorsey-Farley grew up in Needham and returned with her husband Brian in 2000 Linda has been active in Needham organizations including Newcomers, Parent Talk, and Needham Pool & Racquet Club. She’s also been involved in various school and youth sports activities through her three children who graduated from Needham High School.
Linda has been an Human Resources professional for more than 30 years. In 2018, Linda joined Needham Bank to lead its HR and Learning and Development team. In addition to volunteering on the Board of the Needham Community Council, Linda serves on the Board of the Greater New England/National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
