State Representative Denise C. Garlick represents the 43,000 people of the 13th Norfolk District, comprised of Needham, Dover and Medfield (precincts 1 and 2). She currently serves as the Chair of Bills in Third Reading, which is the final committee legislation must pass before it can be engrossed. She is also serving as the elected Chair of the permanent funded Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities and she is the only legislator serving on the Opioid Trust Fund Advisory Council.
Representative Garlick’s work focuses on and reflects the issues and concerns of the communities she represents including climate change, affordable housing, access to affordable quality healthcare, voting access, issues related to individuals with disabilities, COVID-19 relief for families, individuals, schools, & businesses, and resources for schools, including the Special Education circuit breaker and METCO funding.

Matt Borrelli is active in Town government and has served on the Needham Select Board for 11 Years (twice Chair), prior to that he was the Chair of the Finance Committee.
Matt attended Babson College and Suffolk University Law School. He is a practicing attorney and real estate developer. Most recently he co-founded Needham Flag Football with his friend Dave DiCicco. Needham Flag Football is a non-profit with over 600 participants that has given close to $80,000 to Needham youth programs and services. He is currently the President-Elect of the Needham Exchange Club and a fishing and Christmas light enthusiast.

Maureen Kelly-Fromm, lived in Needham for 15 years raising her two children Nicholas and Wyatt who attended St Josephs Elementary School and Monsignor Haddad Middle School. Nicholas is a graduate of Needham High School and Wyatt is currently a senior attending Catholic Memorial High School. She is a successful realtor with REMAX Preferred Properties. Ranked among the top real estate producers in the community. Recipient, REMAX Platinum Club 2 years in a row and 100% Club 5 years running. She has volunteered in several local events and associations over the years in both Newton and Needham. Including Vice President of The Needham Business Association 2016 – 2017.
Maureen joined The Needham Channel News team in 2017 as reporter and news anchor reporting local events such as the annual Spring / Fall Harvest Fair , Blue Tree Lighting Ceremony and News Anchor for weekly news shows. Maureen is a native of Newton.

Sandra Robinson, Executive Director, Needham Community Council
Sandy Robinson has been a Needham resident off and on for over 58 years, raising her family here and recently enjoying having her son and his family move back to town.
She has led the Needham Community Council in the role of Executive Director for over 20 years, including guiding it through the effects of the pandemic. She managed the Council through the expanding needs of the Food Pantry and adapted its services to support the Needham community. She is particularly proud of their newest initiative, Tech & Tutors, which makes access to technology available to everyone no matter their age or income.
On any given day you can see Sandy doing the work that makes a difference, guiding her team of dedicated professionals, enjoying a robust laugh and in general making Needham a great place to both live and work.

Joe Brienze and Rocket
Joe Brienze has been a police officer for the last 7 years. He is currently assigned as the Needham High School resource officer. Joe is Rocket’s handler, and they spend most of their time visiting the various schools and organizations around town. Joe graduated from Framingham State with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and works on the regional swat team as a crisis negotiator.
Rocket is a 3 year old golden retriever dog. He is certified through GOFI as a community service/therapy dog. Rocket has a brother that works in Wrentham (Officer Cruiser) and an uncle that works at Babson Police (Officer Roger). His favorite foods are turkey, cheese and bacon and he thoroughly enjoys ripping apart his toys in his office at the station.
