Opening Night and Trolley Tour: Saturday, December 10th
- Arrive by 5:00 PM for Opening Night Festivities
- Trolley rides leave promptly at: 5:30 PM
The Trolley Rides are sold out but that does not mean you cannot download the Tour Route and enjoy the Holiday decorations from the comfort of your own car on your own time!
Opening Night December 10th, Arrive at Memorial Field at 5pm to visit with Olaf and friends from Frozen. At 5:10 there will be a holiday dance performance by Total Eclipse Dance Studio followed by a performance by the Needham High School Musicians. Trollies leave promptly at 5:30 to tour the town. (Please note: The Trolley Tour is 2 hours long. If you would like to depart the Tour at the halfway point, you may do so at the Needham History Center. Please make arrangements for transportation back to your vehicle.)

Enjoy the Whistle Stops on the Trolley Tour!
- Memorial Field starting at 5:00 PM: Visit with Olaf and Friends, Holiday Dance Performance by Ted’s -Total Eclipse Dance Studio and Needham High Musician singing holiday carols.
- History Center Whistle Stop for Trolley Riders ONLY. Stop at History Center for Holiday cookies, a visit with Santa and entertainment by Singers from St. Andrew’s Church in Wellesley. Also a stuffed animal gift for the first 100 children!
From December 6th – December 17th, download one of our House Tour maps below (available in early December) and take in the festive lights and decorations of the homes and neighborhoods from the safety and comfort of your car. Do the whole Tour in one night or download the different maps and split up the Holiday experience.
Invite your friends and neighbors to take the Tour. VOTE for your favorite homes and neighborhood by clicking the button below (available on December 10th). Voting closes on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at midnight. The winners for Best Overall Decorated House, Best Lights, Best Garland and Greenery, Best Holiday Spirit, Best Children’s Wonderland, and Best Decorated Neighborhood will be based on number of community votes and Celebrity Judging. Winners will be announced at our Awards Banquet Saturday, December 18, 2022!
Safety Note: Please be very cautious about the traffic around you when slowing down to look at the decorations. Use your signal lights and flashers if you pull over to the side of the road. Be sure to check carefully before pulling back out into traffic. Better yet, get your steps in and enjoy the decorations on a walking tour!
The Holiday House Tour is the single largest fundraiser the club does all year. Proceeds from the tour help fund the financial donations the NWC provides to Needham community programs and organizations.

This year it’s all about natural elements like fruit, fresh greens from the yard and white lights for a more traditional colonial look.
