The Needham Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’ s Clubs (GFWC) which is a unifying force, bringing together local women’s clubs with members dedicated to strengthening their communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

GFWC members are mothers and daughters; business, professional, and community leaders; and women of diverse interests, talents, and backgrounds – exemplifying the organization’s motto, Unity in Diversity.

As community leaders, members work locally to create global change by supporting the arts, preserving natural resources, advancing education, promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging civic involvement, and working toward world peace and understanding.

GFWC members raise an average of $47 million on behalf of more than 136,000 projects, and volunteer more than five million hours each year. For more info, go to GFWC.org.
